Registered Cattle - 2

Sorry, but deposits were paid on all cattle before the cattle were advertised for sale.

All our Gold Creek stud breeding cows, Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) cows, bulls and heifers have been sold. Over the next two months, they will be heading off north, south, east and west to their new homes. So, Gold Creek Galloway Stud will not have any registered purebred cows or calves for sale in 2026 or 2027 (not unless something unforeseen happens - one of these sales falls through).

Cattle Coming Up For Sale

These are born-and-bred, young, proven Gold Creek cows and sweet, well-bred little heifers and bull calves. They were all born on our Braidwood property. They have been handled and trained daily from the day they were born. Total strangers can walk up to all of them in the paddock, brush them, and confidently handle them. Children are safe with these Miniature White Galloway females.

We have provided links to playlists for all the females. You can use this link: Stud Working Bulls so that you can check out the bulls in the breeding backgrounds of these females and bull calves.

They are all purebred cattle registered with the Australian Galloway Association.

If you go to our FAQ page and look at question one, you can get a general idea of the price range for these cattle. We know you will be able to find cheaper cattle to purchase elsewhere. However, we can guarantee that you are very unlikely to find friendlier, quieter, smaller or easier to handle cattle. We also think our cattle are particularly beautiful inside and out😍. We know they are well-bred, well cared for and well trained. Potential buyers should know that our cattle come with backup and support that is second to none. Ask to talk to our extended 'Galloway family'. We have happy Gold Creek cattle clients all over Australia who regularly ring, message and text us with questions, looking for advice, or simply offering us much-anticipated little updates.

MACKENZIE & STEPHI are going to Queensland, Australia with Roxy to keep them in line..

Heifer calves are both 5 months old.

Yes, clearly these two are 'joined at the hip' and they will be sold together. They were born days apart and have never been apart from one another since. Their mothers are best friends and sisters, and they are best friends and sisters too.

Solid Red Purebred Heifer Calf

Gold Creek Mackenzie is the first calf of Gold Creek Millie. Millie is a white cow with black points. Millie is the daughter of our late herd leader, Oceanview Cuddles (one of the most intelligent, gentle, and hard-working cows we have ever had the pleasure of working with). Experience has taught us that any calf from the Cuddles breed line will become a fabulous cow. Cuddles also has the record of the highest percentage of heifer calf births to date. Cuddles had eight heifer calves for us and two bull calves. Mackenzie's sire is Puddleby Stanley, a small, solid dun bull.

Mackenzie is a sweet little thing with a lovely, almost dozy personality. Most days, she seems to happily wander around in a world of her own (if BFF Stephi is in her line of sight). Mackenzie is small for her age. Mackenzie is already happy for us to brush her in the paddock if her mum is close by. She is shy but not frightened.

Coming from a line of strong females who give birth to a high percentage of heifer calves Mackenzie has quite the reputation to uphold. We have every confidence that she will.

Mackenzie will become available when weaned in early 2026. Mackenzie will be sold with Stephi. Stephani and Mackenzie would also make a nice match with Roxy as their friend in a new home.

GOLD CREEK STEPHANIE is going to Queensland, Australia

White with dun points heifer calf.

Stephi always looks like she is on a mission.

Stephanie is the first calf of Gold Creek Saffron, a white cow with black points. Her sire is Puddleby Stanley, a small, solid dun bull. She also comes from the same breed line as Mackenzie, with Oceanview Cuddles as her great-grandmother. Any calf from the Cuddles breed line is a really, good calf.

Stephi is a wild little girl now. She is determined to either ignore me or flee in a hurry whenever she sees me. Just last week, little Stephi tried to destroy the cattle crush (kick it to death) all on her own. No provocation: she just went off like a frog in a sock! This kind of behaviour in a calf used to worry me once. Not now, though, I know that Stephi will change when she is good and ready (and not before). One day, she will just work out the actual situation here on the farm. Stephi will come to realise that life is better when you stand around calmly getting pampered like a princess rather than carrying on like a mad cow! 😂

Stephi will become available in early 2025 when she is weaned (and won over by Suzanne!) She will be sold with Mackenzie.

GOLD CREEK LUCY is going to Western Australia with her best friend Storm Girl.

White with red points heifer.

Everybody loves Lucy.

Little cows don't come more relaxed than Lucy.

What to say about Lucy... Lucy would have to be one of the sweetest, most laid-back little females we have ever bred. Her mother is Tumblegum Rosslyn, a white with dun points cow, and her sire is Gleneagles Neddie, a gentle, solid red bull.

We have all been in love with Lucy from the day she was born. Lucy has not been spoiled by the level of attention she always gets from visitors in the paddock. (Or by the fact that Pam and I are both besotted with her). Lucy has taken to her role as an animal-assisted therapy cow like the proverbial duck to water. She was born to it. Watching her calm so many stressed and frazzled visitors has been a joy to watch. Lots of people did not even know they needed to unwind until Lucy worked her magic on them! Lucy has had school teachers and police officers lying around the paddock with her, half asleep and half in heaven, within 20 minutes or so of meeting her.

Lucy is just over two years old now and is in calf the Gold Creek Storm Chaser. Her calf from this joining will be amazing. Lucy is such a love, and Storm Chaser stamps his small size and sweet nature on all of the calves. We can hardly wait to meet this little one.

We have included a link to Lucy's playlist so that you can see her as a calf and fully grown. The videos will give you the best indicator of what her calves will look like and how they will behave. You will also find playlists and video footage of both her parents and the bull that is the sire of the calf she is carrying. LUCY YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   I LOVE LUCY SHORTS

Lucy will not be for sale until she has had her first calf, but we just wanted to share her with you. Lucy will be sold with her calf at foot and can be sold back in calf upon request. If her calf is a bull, he may be sold in a separate sale.

GOLD CREEK JUBILEE (JAFFA) #  is going to Western Australia

Jaffa has a gorgeous thick fluffy winter coat.

Jaffa enjoys the attention of strangers in her paddock.

Cows do not come much better than this; they just don't. Gold Creek Jubilee (Jaffa to her friends) has been our pride and joy for four and a half years. She is small. She is sweet. She is calm. She is patient. She is bombproof. She has had two amazing calves, one heifer and one bull.

Her dam is Gold Creek Jujube, a white cow with black points. Her sire is Thirlstane Nicholas, a stunning white bull with black points. He was an extremely good-looking bull, but did not have the best temperament. Thankfully, this did not transfer to Jaffa (which suggests it was nurture, not nature).

Jaffa is an animal-assisted therapy cow. She would be well-suited to someone wanting a particularly quiet cow because they have a disability of some kind or need some ongoing emotional support. Or suited to someone wanting to purchase her to be able to offer these things to other people. It would be wonderful if all Jaffa’s amazing qualities were put to good use.

Jubilee will not be for sale until she has had her calf in 2026, but we just wanted to share her with you. Jubilee will be sold with her calf at foot. She can be sold back in calf upon request. If she has a bull calf he may be sold in a separate sale.

GOLD CREEK DUST STORM # is going to Western Australia

White with dun points purebred bull calf.

Gold Creek Dust Storm is 'all bull' even as a calf.

Dust Storm will be a delight in whichever paddock 'owns'.

This little bull calf is the first calf of Gold Creek Roxy, a small, solid red cow. His sire is Gold Creek Storm Boy, a super small white bull with black points. Dust Storm may not grow out to be quite as small as his father, but he is already showing all the excellent bull qualities of his father – sweet temperament, solid chucky conformation, and strong bulling instincts. His mother, Roxy, is a favourite with visitors in the paddocks because of her friendly, gentle nature.

Dust Storm is happy to let me brush him in the paddock already. Dusty can be seen most days alternating between playing with the other calves and quietly following the working bull around the paddock, while the bull is calmly attending to his bull duties.

With his breeding background, Dusty carries a fabulous array of possibilities in terms of the colour of his future progeny. Depending on the colour of the cow he could sire, solid white, red, black, or dun calves. He could also help produce white with red, dun, or black points. How exciting will that be for people looking forward to the birth of his future calves?

We have included a link to Dust Storm's playlist so that you can see him as a calf. The videos will give you the best indicator of what his calves will look like and how they will behave. DUST STORM YOUTUBE PLAYLIST

Dust Storm will become available in December 2025.
