SALES CONTACT LIST

Gold Creek Sales Contact List

If you specifically want only registered cattle, being on our Sales Contact List will not help you. We will not have any registered cattle for sale in early 2026.

To be included on the Sales Contact List, you will need to email Suzanne at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Suzanne needs your preferred email address and PIC (Property Identification Code—you can't have livestock on your property without a PIC). Your email needs to include as much relevant information about you as possible. Please include your location, the size of your property (because you need a minimum of five acres for two steers). Tell us about your setup to run cattle on your property (fences, troughs, shade trees...), and anything else you think might be relevant. We ask for this information because a lot of first-timers come to us. We need to know that all the people wanting to go on the Sales Contact List know what is involved in owning cattle and how we can best help them to get what they want.

Gold Creek likes to know quite a lot about you and which cattle you would like before selling cattle to you. The more information we have, the better able we are to match you up with the right cattle. And... by the time any cattle are ready to be sold, Suzanne will have spent weeks, months and more often years handling each of them daily and forming bonds (she gets attached). So, she needs to know the cattle will be well looked after when they leave Braidwood (or she won't be able to sleep at night).

Information about the number of cattle you want is important. Just as important is whether you want cows, bulls, heifers, steers, calves or mature cattle. What you want the cattle for is also relevant. Do you simply want pets or show ring performers? Do you want registered cattle for breeding? Will the cattle be companion animals for people with disabilities? Do you want cattle you can enjoy with children or grandchildren?

Suzanne sorts the people on the Sales Contest List into groups according to her understanding of their wants, needs, and priorities. When cattle are to be offered for sale, she will email the people she feels are a match to the cattle available.

Once you are on the Sales Contact List, it is important that you read our Gold Creek Buying Process. Suzanne will contact you when she is ready to sell any herd members that meet your requirements. The contact will be by email. The email will contain the information, but not the price. Once you ask for and receive a price, you have 48 hours to decide.
